Old party island....Party July 4,5,6,7!!!!

OK here is what I remember......
The name slips me but a local DJ came up to me Sun at WT and said he is setting up his equiptment on the old Party Island....first Island west of our WoodTick. He is planning on playing Wed - Sat with a few breaks. Will be asking for donations to pay for tents, gas for generators and other expenses, which is understandable. He said there is a good chance Mad Dog will be stopping by one day. BYOeverything. They have been out cleaning up the island and are hoping that the word gets out. Sounds like it could be a good time and if anyone has more info.....Please Post it!!!!
The reason he is setting up on that Island rather than WoodTick was.....he does not want his equiptment to be exposed to the direct sun and even with tents, he felt it would be better to move an island over. DATS ALL I KNOW!!

Thrill and Donzi hope you don't mind me posting this over here with the links and all. This just sounds like something the area is lacking...A BIG event that could draw ALL boaters in the area together.:Boating21:
