Like a lot of folks, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them??
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?????

I have seen this before and I can't agree more. I will save the rant I left on one of the other boards but talking about welfare and my tax dollars thats a can of worms I don't think many want to open.

I've lost count of how many welfare/social security recipients live in the two bedroom apartment across the street.
At least they finally moved the trampoline from the front yard, back to the back yard.
They were out there bouncing on it last week, and they never take the trashcans away from the curb, except to fill them up. Well, they were out there bouncing on the tramoline, the trashcans had blown over on there sides.(they never set them back up either, they just leave them) The wife comes home from work and see's the trash all across our front yard. And starts yelling at ME!!! I direct her to the two morons bouncing on the tram, and she heads out the door, and rips into them about there frigging trash. "Thats not our trash, but we'll go ahead and pick it up for you." Then one of the ones on the tramp says,"I don't even live here, I'm in the military, but I'll help pick it up too." (I'm thinking if this guy had served anywere he would have already gone over and picked up the trash, and the last place he would have been hanging out was across the street with these yahoos.) The best line was."It couldn't be our trash it had to be from next door, all they do over there is get drunk" (Really, I've only seen that guy twice since he moved in, and he never leaves his trashcan out in the yard.)
I actually moved all my DVD's to another room so you can't see them when you step in the door of my house. They had started coming over to borrow movies for a while, it was not a big deal to lend them a movie once in a while. But when they would come in and want to look through my ENTIRE collection to make a selection, thats when I put a stop to it. I keep a small amount in the living room now. If it aint in that stack they don't get to see it. I may be mean, but the last thing I want these bozo's to know is how many **** DVD's or other things I got in my house. Especially if I take a trip somewhere.
Here is the plan, when I get enough money to do it, is to buy that apartment building. Then tell them to move.
The last place these people lived was two doors down in another house, she could no longer afford the rent. The landlord finally evicted her. But let her move into this apartment, that had cheaper rent. It took them three months to move. They have pulled at least 4 dumpsters full of crap out of the house, and are just now finally fixing it up. This guy must be getting some kind of money from welfare to let them live there, or he is just stupid.
Give these clowns those urine tests. Back when the storm hit this year they were diving naked into a snow drift from the top of a yard swing. Not that that wouldn't be fun, but there was rug rats over there watching all this.

Why the hell would you let them in your house or loan them movies in the first place??
Maybe I'm just a D!ckhead, but very few people get in the front door of my house. I'm kinda picky about who is welcome here. Hell, some people are lucky I even got up to answer the door.
And I agree 100% on the pizz-test for welfare thing.

The wife was trying to be neighborly. Now she can't stand them either.
My neighbors only get a "hi" and a wave. Occaisonally (quite rare), quick conversation in the yard.
Don't get me wrong, I keep an eye out for them, Caught a kid trying to steal a gas can from the guy across the street last summer. I ran out the door and grabbed him while the wife was on the phone with the cops.
See where that neighborly thing can get ya...
