We are looking for a couple possible open ramps to the river until things thaw out up here. Dale Hollow was just way too far to keep going back.
Any suggestions?

I don't think you want to use the river now unless you want to dodge trees, fridges, dead people, cars, ect.........
Try laurel lake in ky. It is 2+ hours down 75 from cincy. near corbin, ky

You dont think it would be frozen? Everything looked solid right up until Cumberland.
The river is definately out of the question?

I took the Ferry across the river this afternoon. It was high, fast, and full of S#@t.

Laurel is the same distance south. Just not off to the west like cumberland.
Mapquest corbin, ky and you will see it just to the west of 75. roll the page west and you will see cumberland.
If it were my boat i would absolutely say no to the river!! That is why we always test at brookville in the spring.

What are you looking to do? If testing is what you need, then Brookville is the place.

What about Norris? It's not too far off the freeway.
