I put on a BIG AIR show for the ferry today! I always wonder what they think when they see me out there driving retarded in freezing temperatures.

When dad used to have classic cars we'd put the top down in the winter on a nice day and turn up the heat. I plan on doing just that with my Miata :D :automobiel:

We had two nights in the 20s', I put a light bulb under each motor. :)
I alway get out in March and November, no matter what.

Man, I wish more people were like you. Not sure why, but it always bugs me that people quit so early because of a little cold. Some of my best times at the islands were cold nights!

It would be much easier w/a big heated garage... Last year I winterized 4-5 times! I do have the luxury of taking her down to the fire dept to work on it inside, just can't leave it there.

I'm a die hard, and it bugs me when people say things like "That's alot of money to spend on something you can only use 4-5 months a year!" I use it at least nine:) with a couple winter trips thrown in for good measure. Really not too tuff to drain and dump in antifreeze a few times a winter.

I think most people have a lay up period on their insurance. I do on the cat, but not the pontoon. Should be out on it Sunday.
