Could you please give the board a tutorial in bat flogging.

One of our member's significant other had a bit of an incident with an giant moth/bat and could use some good advise :D

Man o Man.....believe it or not I had forgot about that. You just made me laugh out loud!!!


To everyone out there that has an "encounter" w/ a winged animal that is trying to take your head off* there is only a single weapon of choice. Do NOT go to the gun safe (Tony* Nigel* Joe...this means you)* do NOT attempt to save your life* nor your families lives w/ any means other than a mini-stapler!!! There are reasons that I have sworn to secrecy not to reveal* you need to trust me on this one.


PS....please have your significant other dive into the trenches wrapped in a comfortor w/ the hood of their sweatshirt pulled up for ultimate protection. If available.....gloves and a childrens plastic wiffle ball bat can REALLY intimidate the winged beast!

Now are you referring to using a bat for flogging purposes or actually flogging a bat?

A "bat" is a type of crop used on horses to get them to jump, among other uses.

Ive found that 22 shot shells work well for annoying other forms of close quarter flying critters.

I'm pretty sure that electronic flyswatter would bring it down too. Brought me to my knees when I grabbed both sides, Ill tell ya that.

I had a friend grab onto one of those once... he never did it again. ;)

you load your own avatar...just go to the user control pannel and click on edit avatar on the left hand side you can post it from a URL or you can upload your own I think the dimensions need to be 150x150 pixels or smaller
