Generally not a big fan of this site. Seems to be alot of ads where you can buy a 2007 BMW for $7k because some overseas dude cant afford to pay the shipping on it? I'm sure that is legit. Also, you can apparently buy mexican midget prostitutes.

However my recent experience was pretty good. I was bored so I posted an ad for my bike. The next day it was sold. Yesterday am I posted Sarah's little VW and it sold the same day.

anyone else sold/bought/traded on that site?

I sold my jetboat within 2 weeks to a guy who responded the same day I put the add up. Heres the great part, it sold mid to late boating season slightly above book value. :D

I picked up a jeep cj-5 frame, axles, trany, transfercase, 2fenders and a hood......delivered to Cincy from Louisville for $200!

I bought a mat and tonneau cover for my truck for $10. Researched some trucks on there but the people were aholes. If it were easier to search it would be better but having to go back to the state and pick cities is a pain. Too many advertisers getting on there now (retail). Lots of hookers, lol.

I inquired about a really cheap Verado once, $3400 including delivery. The guy wanted me to send the money to a company to hold while they shipped the motor(sounds ok so far, the company was a real company) but the "rep"from that company wanted me to take cash to western union and not to tell western union the name of the company. (I don't think so). I just wanted to know where in Columbus the motor was so I could come down and get it, IN PERSON. But supposedly the motor was in New York. But checking around there was an add for it in almost every major city listed on the list. Can you say SCAM!!!!

Scams are the norm these days. It's hard enough to do a straight sale with a cashier's check, cash, or paypal remotely or even in person....much less adding complications. I use the saying..."If it smells like fish, it probably is"
