Just bought one.

Very odd little gun but dam is it fun, not much on range with .410 shot shells but the home defense rounds will phuck shit up at a short distance. They have three copper discs and 12 00 buck behind them. Patterns at 10,12 and 15 yards were suprisingly good, would not bet on much past that. The grip is really short but holds well. It is not desigend for accuracy or distance but it does really well at what it is designed for short range devastating impact.

I've always poked fun at those things. Never shot one though. I'd love to test one on a stray cat.

One of my friend's dad has one. I don't know that I would buy one myself but the concept is interesting.

Must be gun fever time, I stopped by ADCO yesterday for a new upper to finish off a lower I put together about a year ago...

What 50 upper do you have that you have to modify the lower for?

ADCO has the RRA lowers on their website for $150, you can find cheaper online but then you have to pay the ffl so the savings is usually a wash. It's a small shop with odd hours but they have a lot of cool stuff there. It's nice to be able to walk in and grab an upper.

I bought it as much for me as my wife. Point and shoot, there is no aim necessary. You can drive a truck through the rear sight. It is what it is.

Check with Pete at Legal Transfers.... ar15sales.com He is hands down thee guy to deal with for all things RRA. I've had good dealings with ADCO as well.

Please do yourself a favor if you have made the decision to build a BMG on an AR lower and dont go cheap. The BMG round is a monster that generates extreme power and stress that was never designed to be used with AR type hardware. Just becase it can be done doesnt mean its a good idea. I sure as hell wouldnt build one on an off brand internet special. Theres a great deal of responsibility that comes with shooting a BMG, please be safe with it.

I own one. It actually has a purpose in my life. I carry it mostly while hog hunting in Texas. Damn rattlesnakes don't sit well with me. I don't care to take the time to aim at them when I'm in a hurry to dispatch one.

There's about 12 of us that hunt regularly on the same lease. I know of at least 8 of them that own a Judge. They're kinda like a crescent wrench in your tool box. It doesn't do any one thing great but gets the job done when needed.

I keep it loaded at the house with 45LC for sweetie. I have a feeling that will do as much damage as a 45ACP, 9mm, 40, and so on.

I've found the accuracy to be far better than what the naysayers seem to report. At 25' I shoot the centers out of clay pigeons with mine all the time. I've owned a lot of wheel guns in my day, this one seems to shoot just as good as any of them for it's caliber.

Buck,

Buy a box of the winchester home defense rounds, they have 3 discs and 12 BB sized pellets and find yourself a bad watermellon.........

Did some shooting yesterday getting the long guns ready for our upcoming annual Texas predator hunt. After we got done a pulled the Judge out and ran a few quick rounds through it. The pic is what I ended up with.

This is a 12"x12" target shot from 25 yds with Hornady Lever evolution ammo in 45lc. As you can see, given the distance of the target the group isn't that bad for a handgun. This also somewhat proves my point about the naysayers saying this gun won't hit anything.

The small hole in the middle is from a round of #4 .410 I threw at it seeing what kind of pattern I would get at that distance. As you can see it wasn't that great. But hey, it was in the 10 ring. :)
