Hey that gives me a great Idea to take an old dishwasher and convert it into a parts washer using mineral spirits, a pump, filter and holding tank :)

I built one out of an old fuel tank, parts solvent destroyed the pump

Dishwasher works great for getting cosmoline off of surplus gun parts too.

My kitchen counter is an ongoing project center, I think when I left I had a roll of 14/2 wire, a Lowes bag full of light fixtures, and a rifle barrel sitting on my counter.

Overkill is a wonderfull thing, most of the wiring I do is overkill, I learned back back from my days in car audio comp.

I setup a lot of systems for guys back in high school, I used enough "00" cable that I got a discount at the local welding supply shop.

I quit working on anything electrical that's over 12 volts. I got tired of Debbie calling me Sparky. I start off trying to play electrician, and usually end up playing welder. :(

I was electrified today. Everything metal I touched shocked the sh*t out of me. I actually saw a big spark off my fingertip in the cuddy of a boat today!

NMC (Non Metalic Cable) is the correct generic term for what we all call Romex. If you actually use the term NMC most people don't have a clue WTF you are talking about.
Romex ® is a brand name dating back to the 1920's for the brand of Non Metalic Cable marketed by The Rome Wire Company of NY.
Romex ® is still a registered trademark but is in danger of becoming public domain due to common useage.
