Just got back from our short trip to Fl. As usual, nothing could go smoothly.
Josh/Jeremy - had a great time hanging out and glad we got to stop by. I wish I had a canal in my back yard.
Then we were off to the Keys.
Satuday - recovery from Friday with Josh and Jeremy.
Gilligan wasn't too sure but he was glad to be warm finally

Went out fishing on Sunday and part of Monday. Well, per usual, they fished and I sat in the sun with my book.
Tony's dad's buddy took us out in his little fishing boat. It's low to the water. It was a little rough so I got to see the "canvas" in action!
And where else would you keep an old umbrella but one of the rod holders? Duh!

I had more fun watching his dad and buddy all day. They really are two old men set in their ways fishing. They like to get real close to the pillons.
"Tony, just push us away if it gets too close"
"Don't worry about it, it'll be fine"

And of course no trip can be done without working on the truck. Apparently this time the lock on the hitch froze up with all the salt.
How many guys does it take to get it off?
Finally took an hour, a drill and a pry bar

Gilligan wasn't sure he wanted to come home
We finally made it in at close to 4 am this morning. Got as close to home as Kentucky when a spring broke on the trailer and took out a tire. Limped home. Dead tired today

On non fishing (bad weather) days, the amount of guys that will congregate to fix the simplest of problems is astounding.
