James Brown passed away yesterday at 73 years old.
The God Father of Soul did much to define music from the 60's to the present day and beyond.
He put out some fantastic recordings over his long career.

I hate to say it, but I thought he was gone already. I must have been thinking of Rick James or something.

I cant help but think of his appearance in ROCKY IV and Weird Als remake "Living With A Hernia".

Did ya know the Reverend Al Sharpton got his start in show business as James Bown's cape man on the legendary song "Please Please Please"?

Did ya know the Reverend Al Sharpton got his start in show business as James Bown's cape man on the legendary song "Please Please Please"?Wasn't Al Sharptons wife one of James' backup singers?

I thought he was older, but its sad to hear of him passing.

Reverend Al was a hanger on of James Brown, was his cape man for a short period, also a manager for a very brief time.
