My friend on Mustang Island....this one seagull stayed next to me and followed me around all over the beach...I finally turned the tables and started following him around...he still wouldn't fly away. Evidently I had some fascinating trait that really intrigued him.
At the end of the day I fed him leftover lunch meat and bid him farewell. I'll look for him next time.

Aransas Pass @ sunset....state (free) ferry crossing channel, and you can just see a dolphin fin in the pic. There are a jillion dolphins in the channel there.

The crane on the right is GIANORMOUS!!!
Dunno WTF they use it for, but it's freakin huge....

Crane from the other side....it's self propelled, kinda reminds me of the crawler transporter that NASA uses to take the rockets to the pads.
