My Amazing Cell Phone

Ok, its old news that I fell in at Put In Bay this summer with my cell phone in my pocket.

The next day, it did not work at all.

Eventually, it powered back up, but many options like the volume and camera didnt work. If you'd try to use those options, it would just put a bunch of #s across the screen.

After a couple weeks, you could adjust the volume if you did it a certain way. A couple more weeks went by and it was back at 100%.

Finally, Im back at Put In Bay this past Saturday night. Im not sure why I even tryed, but my camera started working 100% out on the docks for the first time since the night in question!

had my phone with me when we flipped the boat in the St Clair races last year. Put it on the dash of my truck for a while in the sun and before long it was working fine. I will say this though, save all your info off it while its still working . Evenyually it will go bad, you can get the moisture out and get it back running but at some point corosion will set in.

Ive had several that have gotten wet and worked for a while after drying out, but they all eventually have died. So far I like my new Boulder, water seems to have no effect on it, will see how it fairs in the pocket of my BC while diving this winter. :D

Ouch...That hurt a bit.....

I havent yet installed the blackberry software to my new computer so I dont think I can plug in the USB and just download them.....If I send them as a MMS to my email, I think I get charged $.05 per message.... Times are tough... $.20 will start to add up!

Speaking of cell phones, I will admit that I ended up eating some of my own words... I am always real annoyed by the star trek looking jackasses that constantly walk around with the cyborg plug-in attached to their ear seeming to talk their imaginary friends.... I vowed to never use one.... I was bored last night and found mine while cleaning my computer room. Just for chits and grins I activated mine.... I havent been able to stop using it! I always seem to be doing ten things at once and it is a hell of a lot easier to multitask when I dont have to hold a phone with one hand. Also prevents me from dropping the phone in the toilet, lake, a beer, a pile of dog chit, etc, etc. I still refuse to ever use it in public though....

Just install the CD. it takes two seconds and then when you plug your phone into the computer it will ask if you want to turn on data store (or something) mode. Click yes. it will then show up as a drive in My Computer and you can go to the pictures folder.
