So with Tony's posts last fall about Hell Fire being the fastest boat in Ohio, I must ask, how fast?

Man, what a good weekend. Cant belive there were so many pirates on the island. Our plan got cut pretty short and were limited to idle speed all weekend. Glad to see you all, and has anyone heard from Formula One, is he still alive?
More importantly, did anyone get any pics of all the kids and dogs on his boat jumping around like it was playland at McDonalds....MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I do know that HellFire on "books" can hit 200 mph but they've only taken it up to around 175 mph. The duo Dennis & Erika usually cruise around 120 tho.

I dont remember the numbers, RHC should know. I do remember someone saying that the boat had purposly been slowed down from when Turbine Marine built it.

QeenRuler, who are you? I do remember hearing original numbers up around 180, but it didnt come direct from the horses mouth and Im not one to spread rumors.

I see a Rogue and FTT behind Barb in that one pic. Saw them in Sandusky Bay Monday for a bit. WE were burnt, tired, broke and rocked near to death and went home early Monday afternoon. I can barely move today.

I know the couple pretty well so have heard from the "horses mouth" when boat was rec'd from Turbine Marine 2yrs. ago that on their books it could hit 200 however Dennis will confirm around as you said 180ish. I do know Erika has ridin in it at around 160. They did recently have work done on it however speed didn't change too much. The boat is like brand new with everything they had done to it within the last 2yrs of buying it. They love however their 40skater which they keep home in FL. said that is their "favorite" ride!

OMG I'm tired today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great weekend. I'll post pics later......you know how well I post pics. They get there eventually LOL!
It was so good to see everyone (even you Josh :flowers:).
lluf ecrof it was sooooooooo great to see you at Kelley's. Really glad the boat ran well.
Thrill/Donzi, great to see you both again too! Thrill never ceases to disappoint LOL! Whaler is great. Hope you can get the prop fixed soon and thanks for your help at the ramp yesterday Tony.
DUDE!! Great to meet you and your family. Hope we meet up again. You guys are a lot of fun.
There were several (Teambaja for one) who we met for the first time and I can't remember everyone we met (don't think the alcohol had anything to do with that do you?).
RHC, thanks for the help in the Bay yesterday. You too Rogue. We did go to Johnson's Island and looked at the homes......if I ever hit the lottery I'm buying one of those homes!
RG, great to see you sweetie as always.
Just too many people to mention. Oh, LEOPA Scott, you and Mary rock! The poker crawl was so much fun!!! Gotta do that one again!
I can't wait to go to bed tonight! I'm beat.

I second all of that! I went to bed early last night and I'm still tired today.
Scott - you and Mary did a great job with the crawl. You had everything well put together again. I had, as usual, a blast. I think Frank Sr. did as well. We may have had the slowest boat but we definitely had the fastest cart!
Barb - I'm glad I got to see you and Rob finally this summer.
Even though we were limited to an idle, I had a great week and glad I got to see everyone. The air mattress in the Whaler was surprising fairly comfortable (or maybe I had enough to drink that I didn't notice...). The screaming kids next to us at 7 in the morning was the part that had me wishing for a cabin!

I'm not yet recovered. I actually ended up with some sort of flu/cold. Sweating one minute, shivering the next. Barfed a few more times. Sore throat. Chest hurts.
Laid around most of the day after I got home. Still feel like crap today.
Dont have a girlfriend. Dog was returned later that afternoon.

Maybe its an alergic reaction to screaming kids, yappy little dogs, and other anoyances caused by a troupe of strangers taking over your ship.

Go and get a kids tent from walmart they are 6' x 5' and they are only $20.00 it keeps the dew off of you and it small enough to hotbox your significant other without pulling the covers over her head.

I always have a boat load of kids. Took 5 girls ranging from 8-10 plus my 13 year old out and beat the dog snot out of the sea doo running through a tank in 2 days. My back is hurting.
Wife beat two kids with the yellow doo (AKA yellow machine of Death) flipped off her hat and the blonde hair came out. One kids said to the other..."Dude....that's a girl....you just got beat by a girl." Obviously they do not recognize it as the yellow machine of death.

I will say this much...........Sat/Sun evenings was the first time we've ever stayed at the Casino..........and our last most likely even with all the fun we had.
I can't sleep with the music playing that loud for that long. The the winds changed Monday morning around 4AM and the surge came in....the lines were pulling, the boats were rocking......UGH. I'm with Rogue......I'm just getting too old I guess.:o

Don't get pissy with me mister just becuase you can't hang all day and most of the night like I can. :DrunkAgain: Staying up until 1AM or later does nothing for me. I'm sure I drank twice as much as you did on Saturday. And, I was up until 2AM Friday night in PIB, up at 7AM which is why I had to go to bed at 11 on Saturday. :)
