my second oldest cat "Big-Eyes" ,23 years old, has been getting worse and I had to put her down Monday. Considering what I do for a living you would think it would be easier but no, my eyes welled up good. Her mother at 24 is still doing great but I wonder how long she will be around without her daughter and constant companion.

:( That sucks Tom. I know how hard it is to lose a pet/family member.

So sorry. I had a big black cat that left us one night last fall and never came back...he loved me - hated my wife. Farted, snored...a real "guy" cat.

Thanks all. Im sorta a cat god, they all love me. And mine all live a long time. I had to leave these 2 with the ex as they were too old to move and Hollie has a dog and a cat too (who both have taken to me now too).

They dont usually, mine all seem to with a couple exceptions. I think the record is 29.
