So far, all my boating is being done in my backyard or the driveway.
Been living here for 5 years, and haven't been on this part of the Ohio River yet.
Boat is getting put back together.
Do you know anyone local that can do a good job painting the hullsides?

As far as where to boat, I'm with Donzi. I'll haul up to Erie to run the Islands. That's my home.

Yeah, just hullsides, and I'm not in a huge hurry.
Might want to do the deck/cockpit, but I'm on a budget, and at least want to get her close to being done.
Let me know if he's interested.
The hull is already sanded down, and could probably just use a final sand before paint. If I had the space and equipment, I'd do it myself. Should be a pretty easy job.

I've been working every weekend, so this is taking longer than I expected, and not gonna see water this year.

I'm in cinci, I hear up river east of the dam is nice, but never been. brookeville is okay, but I'm tired of the chop that's always out there. I love Erie like everybody else, but only go up once or twice a year. Cumberland nice too. we should start an island Pirates South chapter :D....course there's no islands here :(

I just had a supervisor on 2nd shift quit (to become a professional gambler...) and the rest of the shift is green (6 mos at best) so I'm working 12+ hour days trying to do both my job, and his. It may be a little longer before I can put some more time into the boat. I'm actually trying to stay up a little later tonight to force myself to sleep in tomorrow.
I saw the Cinci run was cancelled this year, I remember you usually did that run.
Are you still running Cumberland?

I paid the Dock/party fee for the Cin. PR the last couple years.150 bucks. I never could see $500 to run up and down the river. I'm not doing any PRs this year.Didnt even send in to the Leopa run this year. I just dont know where I will be that far out.

I am in Cincy. The river has been shit this year and have only been on it twice to test a boat. I have been to brookville a couple of times and to cumberland twice. Hopefully the river shapes up soon! A few of us locals usually go out on wednesdays for party in the park on the serpentine wall as well as thursdays for ribs night at ludlow bromly yacht club. We have been busy working on boats and haven't done either yet this year!

I was by the "island" in Aurora/Rising Sun on Sunday, the river was pretty dirty. We have some friends that have a camp site on the KY side, hung out there for lunch.
