Just curious.............
Are you a pack rat that will not throw anything away, or toss it/sell it if you dont currently need it?
(by default, Allan4 is a putz)

My wife DEFINES pack rat. I forced her to give away some of the clothes and toys for the kids. She literally had every piece of clothing they ever wore. I asked her if she is looking to have another....she finally got rid of some. She even has my dishes from college.
Things I pack:
1. tools...never enough.
2. Boat parts (Rogue can attest)
3. Awning material...just sits under my trailer which people at the park know to use.
I have a rule....not used in 6 months sell it or pitch it.

I stockplie all kinds of stuff, I always seem to find a use or market for something eventually. When the price is right or the need arises Its there. :D

If you have never been to the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg TN, that is a must see deal. For years I wanted to hit that place but it's kinda in BFE and never had an occasion to be nearby.
Couple of years ago I found myself on a quick round trip to Huntsville AL and while eating some BBQ noticed I was fairly close to Lynchburg and had some time to spare, so I drove on over.
My expectations were really low, for years I had seen the magazine ads where they stress the home spun good old boy aspect of the place and I thought it would be a big hoax for PR purposes.
The place is awesome, just like the ads, and totally free.
Visit if you can.

I think the hardest thing for me to get rid of is old boating t-shirts. I have acquired many over the last 3 years from Baja and poker runs.
Ive been officially divorced for over 6 years and still find stuff to get rid of from her days of living here. Cant imagine if we had been married a long time!

Ive yet to make it to the headquarters but they do bring a "traveling" version of it to Bristol every year. Very cool stuff.
Petey .. you know Ill take your old t-shirts ... still waitin for enough "used" ones to make .. um ... something :automobile1:

I have thrown alot out lately, being home instead of boating gets other things done, I would rather be boating though..

I had a nice stockpile of boxes and packing built up after my big e bay craze a few years ago. This past spring I tourched 90% of it. Now Im looking at a mountain of boat parts that will probably be hitting e bay this winter with absolutly nothing to ship them in...grrrrr..this happens every time

I have a client down there. On the way from one plant to another I go right by it... Same story, some free time, stopped in for the tour. Stopped at the giftshop after... The original bar is there still so I sat there for a minute. This lady comes over with a tray of lemonade and asked if I wanted to try some. I asked, "what kind is it?" Thinking in terms of the J.D. Lynchburg Lemonade or something.. Her smart azzed response was, "Lemon flavored lemonade". Fuking bich! She could have just said, this is a dry county. Its non alcoholic lemonade.

The flood kind of cured me of keeping some stuff. But tools, boat parts, and other stuff, I keep.
My wife however, I rarely see her throw anything away.
