Long time no see for most of you.

Been in Fla for 2 yrs now and so far so good although...have boated in a bunch of different places down here but so far...ain't found nothing as nice as the islands you Buckeyes are spoiled with.
Only thing I miss about that state.
Have done quite a bit in the Keys and love them but so far....I'll take the "Big Lake" and the islands.

Teied to load a picture of my new/used Sonic as an avatar but the files too big and when I try to edit it, it crops most of it off???
Duh.

Reading in the local paper that y'all are getting some of our weather now ;)
I snoop on lakevision.com to remind myself what it looks like and saw 48* on June 1st and week later it was 94*!
Sure don't miss only having 2 seasons :)

Welcome!

I think Tony was telling me about the deal with your last boat. Mine sold in a kind of similar/weird way.

Yo Gary, it's nice to see you in another twin o/b Sonic. It looks like a nice one! Kind of surprised to see "black on the back" though.......better not tell the guys on SF.

Take care-

Thrill and Shannon, Yeah Sonic #2.
Bought this one sight un-seen and got screwed royally by a broker in Chicago.
Finally making headway on it though and like what I see so far.
Shannon the black bastards came on it ;) Toying with either a pair of ground on OMC's or if finances improve maye a pair of E-Tecs. (Bahams trips etc)
I like the motors so far though and with the EFI it's no drama and drive it like a car compared to the carb motors I'm used to.
It's set up with the motors bearied and I'm still sorting fuel suppy issues but have seen 68 GPS so far and theres probably atleast 5 left with the right wheels.

DonziGirl, yeah the sale of the 1st Sonic is a story for over beers but in a nut shell it started as a e-bay deal gone bad, wired money not showing, buyer spending a week in a Columbus hotel waiting on it :), me being a red neck and basically scaring the shit out of the guy before the deal finally completed and the boat went to Panama.

My deal was similar. I had my boat on Boat Trader - this guy called and asked about it. He wanted me to get it to Miami and I told him it was in Ohio and it was pick up only. He asked where Ohio was... and I started wondering about the whole deal. He told me to get a shipping estimate to get it to Miami and he'd get it to the Bahamas from there. He didn't quibble about price at all but the day he was supposed to pay me came and went and I figured it wouldn't ever work out. Oddly enough, the money was wired two days later and the whole deal worked out (thanks to RHC for taking it to Miami for me)
