Folks I have some very exciting news to announce from Bucyrus, Ohio.

Several of the talented folks formerly with Baja are starting a new company that that is unique to the industry. With their combined years of talent and experience in the boat building industry they have what it takes to help all of us repair, improve and customize our boats like we have never been able to do before.

Please check out the website which shows exactly what they can do for you.

Contact Dave Leonhardt for additional information. Cell # 419- 569-1984

For example they are working up a quote for me to move the rear bench seat forward 12 inches on my 36 Outlaw and build a custom engine hatch similar to what you have seen on the Baja poker run boats like the new Split Decision 40 Outlaw at the Miami Boat Show!

I wish them the best of luck with this new venture and applaud them for thinking out of the box and coming up with a way to use their talents to continue to serve the marine industry.

Please spread the word and give these guys your support.

Thank you

I wonder if they would be interested in giving me a one week upholstery lesson. I'm a quick learner and just need to watch it being done. I know there is a place in Port Clinton/marblehead that does this but they are expensive and Ive not heard good things about them.

Congrats on the new business. Wish I had the money to bring them my boat next year and get the glass work and painting done.

I wish them luck. I can personally vouch for the quality of Lane's work.

Unfortunately Dave and the crew need to be a bit more aggressive in getting the word out. A lot of us on this board persoanally know, met, etc these guys. They tend to be a bit quite blowing their own horns.

Bob, this is just a chance to get the word out early. We are still in the process of shutting down Baja. If I was opening a business like that I wouldnt want to just open up one day and wonder why I didnt have anything to work on. If they advertised heavily right now they wouldnt be able to do the work till Baja is history. They both get a pretty decent severance if you are wondering why they dont just quit early.
