He was accidentally shot in a police training session a few hours ago......we keep getting better news but keep your fingers crossed.:( :( :(

The last thing I heard was that his lung wasn't punctured, it had just collapsed. The bullet went all the way through and fragmented into 9 pieces. 6 of those came out and the other 3 were close enough to the surface that they didn't have to operate. The parametics aren't certain why his heart wasn't hit. Apparently he's in a lot of pain right now, but everything should be ok.

Thanks. From what I hear he's now able to talk and they're going to discharge him from the hospital in a few days.

I guess out of all senarios of being shot there, that was the best option of it going out through the back and not hitting lungs or heart
