hhhmmm... I am not so sure.. I have been looking as everyone knows, A good drive used and not new could be had for 1200-2000.00 if they are fresh never ran rebuilts 2500-3500.00 from what I have seen.
I was hard pressed to get 150.00 each for my transom assemblys, I sold mine since I got rebuilt ones with a deal I bought.
Trannies seem to pull from 500-1000.00 each.
Those are the going rates I have seen, I look EVERY day since the day I bought my boat, I am also into the used market heavily..
I am not trying to start any issues but I always start with bad market prices and then hope for the best.
There is a guy in Mentor with a nice TRS drive for 2000.00 and has been for sale for a long time now.
I thought yours was Merctrans?

i figure good drives are worth around 3k and the trannies around 1k apiece i agree the transoms arent worth **** but the trimm cylinders are going for around 250 apiece. parts do sell for allot more over the counter than they do on the internet

Thats the thing, with internet there are so many people selling all kinds and conditions. I would say if the parts sold well you could pay for most if not all of one Bravo conversion, not too bad in my opinion.

If you talk to him, have him as Jo if they ever go those sweatshirts in that were gonna be ready "in two weeks" back in 02, 03, 04, 05. :D
Id bet any $$ that if you called right now and asked to buy a Pantera sweatshirt they would tell you that they will be ready in 2 weeks.

Do you know if anybody other than Stellings makes a TRS to Bravo adapter in the form of a standoff box?
Lofty on OSO says that there are still some laying around at Stellings but they arent completely finished, and that the only blueprint of the design was in the old man's head, so Randy really doesnt know what to do with them.

I'm going to Pantera on Friday.
What kind of issues did your father have if you don't mind me asking?
I remember they had some rough years, and rumor is some people got screwed some large coin.
I don't know much of the story, I just own one of their old boats.

he bought some boats during the rough patch to become a dealer. they couldnt deliver at that time and my old man took them to court. when he was there today dad said it really looked like they had they`re stuff together. it looks like were going to take a new 28 as payoff and become a dealer now after all. in the end it seems like they might be stepping up to the plate

That's good to hear that they are making good on the deal - even years later.
I know it sucks for that period of time, but, at least they are trying to make good.
Good luck to your family and the new dealership. I hope it works out well!
I just like their boats.
Glad to hear that it sounds like they are getting it all back together.
I know they took a helluva a blow personally ( the familly) after the lost life in that race. Who wouldn't?
