OSO has lots of pics and posts about the DQ. Much of it in the SBI race section for whatever reason?

And it was previously ok'd by the same person who said it was illegal.

All thanks to the "Were Homo Men" team.

How did Gordo make out?

As far as the DQ for a shorter boat goes rules are rules, if you break them expect to eventually be caught.

On the other hand if the boat passed inspection all year by the same guy it ought to be allowed to race.

The boat was measured wrong in Destin.

OK, so you saying that the same guy who measured it all season and did it right all season, suddenly did wrong one time and DQd a boat?/....

No, the same guy who measured it once before did it wrong and said it was illegal and then DQ'd the boat. He measured total length from the bottom of the transom instead of going back to where the transom and transom assembly meet. They are supposed to measure straight down from that point.

He got 5th. I wanted the Worlds for him so bad this year. Maybe next year.
