I'm looking for some information on different trades unions payscales. Specifically the pipefitters/hvac and welding trades. I'm not that familiar with unions but I know there is different pay scales for like apprentice, journeyman, etc. Also some kind of timeframe it takes to reach certain levels within the trades, and the pay scales for those levels. Thanks guys!

Birdog may be able to help you with that. I know he isn't on the site much but he might get a PM.

You can look up prevailing wage for the state, county and then the type of work you will be doing and that should get you close to what a union worker would be paid.

Yup...I am a union pipefitter. Used to be a boilermaker. Now is a GREAT time to get in the trades. You serve a 5 year apprenticeship to become a journeyman. If you can pass the weld certs i can probably help you come in quicker
