OK, who's not winterized yet and is boating?

Not an option for us unfortunately, but the lake has been like a pond the last week. Go figure, the weather in November is better than it was all of August and September. :mad:

My 20 CC is not winterized. Of course it is an outboard and all I do is drain the engine and let it fire once out of the water to get the rest of the water out of the exhaust.

I will be boating as long as there are ducks flying and open ramps.

Don't temp me sweetie! Rob's working til 7PM, I'm leaving work at 1PM. I could get a few hours of boating in and he'd never even know it! :eek:

It was excellent for November. Nobody went swimmin (cept Abby of course), but at great day for 11/11. On the water at noon, picked up a couple friends at the state park. It was still a little breezy so we cruised canals and back water for the first hour showing them the lake sights. Shot down the lake for a late lunch and Margaritas at the Island house on Leibs Island, picked up my daughter(former drag racer too) and let her run some 60-70mph passes, dropped off the first couple who came along and watched the sunset.

Then to Capt. Woodys for supper and more margaritas:) Met some of our lake friends there for drinks and promises to get together over the winter.

Then idled back down the lake for and hour to the ramp under the bright stars. It was warmer at 11pm than it was at noon when we launched.

Most awsome day... :) :)

You're right Mark, it was warmer at 11PM then it was all day long.

Sunset???? You saw sun this weekend? Not a peak of it around here at all this weekend. Friday was the last day we saw any sun.

Glad you had a good time. We're jealous!
