So after scouring the intro net for the past few months I find a truck that I'm very interested in. I call yesterday to make sure its still there, ask a few questions, yada yada. Rush thru the day so I can hurry up and get down there.

NO FUKING TRUCK! They sold it a few days ago.

So here I sit impatiently waiting on 9 a.m. so I can call and make someones life misereable.

im not sure it will even go that fast.. its hard to say.. i think it might have a rear alignment issue, because it eats rear tyres like no other:D

Why a Chevy????? they only usually go 100,000 miles then start to break hard parts!! Chevy has really put a bad tast in my mouth over the last few years, I was also disappointed when I looked at an 06 3/4 ton Chevy for my dad and saw how pee pee the suspension was compared to my Super Duty Ford. I will give chevy credit for a good ride but you compromise towing for that ride I think.

My last Chevy went 235k 1 transmission after towing 7k lbs every weekend between 100 and 198k mi, and one water pump. I would honestly bet anyone a thousand bucks that it would have went another 100k. "not towing"

My pops who doesnt understand the meaning of maintenence has a 95 with close to 70k and probably the origonal oil/air/fuel filter. with zero problems.

He also has an 01 GMC with close to 80k towing may have changed the oil twice.....zero problems.

Cant say the same tho for all of my local buddies with their Fords and Dodges.....BTW WTF is that part under the hood of the early 90s fords that looks identical to a metal coffee can??

All bull**** aside If I was buying a diesel I would buy another 7.3 Ford but for the year/mi./setup I have to have, they are significantly out of my price range right now. I drove a 3/4 ton standard cab truck for 7 years, the suspension closely resembles that of a Euclid 50 ton rigid mine truck. Il take my softer ride and spend a few hundred and have Buck send me some more airbags for when I get tow happy and want to lug a 5 ton roller home for the weekend.

NOW! when is somebody gonna build a truck with a Cummins/Allison or Cat/Eaton Fuller combo in a small truck???????

You must be Chevy lucky!! Just buy another diesel!!! you can find a nice 99-01 Superduty for around 15,000 if ytouy look hard, honestly, go to Texas, I was setting up to get a Texas truck right before I found mine at the steal I got it for, even if you buy a Chevy go south and drive it back they are way cheaper and never saw salt.

I didnt have time to call yesterday but my phone rang a minute ago and it was the dealer following up on how my appointment went.

I dont quite thing she was prepared for the ass reaming that I gave, I blew a little smoke and told her that my girlfriend was set to buy a brand new jeep from them but to go ahead and forget about it.
