I wanted to train Gilligan to pee in my splash well but I think it's too hard of a surface. He only likes soft surfaces

Spot is my catch dog. This is the first time I had his cut vest on him. Bandit will catch a wild hog too, but I'm afraid he'll get hurt since he only has three legs, and might have trouble fighting a hog. He is fearless though. I put Spot and Bandit in a field that Deb's dad had a couple of hog in. We knew they didn't have very big tusk, so I let Bandit practice. It was funny watching Spot. It was mostly knee high grass in the field. Spot was hopping through it like a deer, so he could see. When he spotted the hogs, he almost turned in mid air, and lit off for the hogs, with Bandit dead on his tail. By the time I got there and grabbed the hog by his hind legs, Bandit had one ear, and Spot had the other. I hollered at Deb and her dad to hurry over and get my dogs off the hog. They couldn't even choke them off the hog. Usually, you can get the dog by the collar and choke them off the hog. Deb's dad grabbed Spot by the jaws and pinched them until he turned loose. Deb was trying to pull Bandit off the other ear, and Bandit pulled the whole dang ear off. :eek:

Btw, Bandit hates a leaf blower too. :)

Okay, I'm trying again. Here is Chey with a hair piece to cover her mole that made her hair stand up. We had the mole removed so the hair piece is no longer needed.

haha, ya he's not a big fan of the life vest, its more like a straight jacket, but it keeps him calm and puts him in his "chill" mode.
we actually drag the boat all over the place. havne't been on the river yet surprisingly. a few small inland lakes in the area, and some weekend trips to cumberland and Erie. love it up on Erie, hope to have a summer home up in Marblehead/catawba someday.

We're at Cumberland once a year or so for a Donzi event. I used to be ther all the time. When I was about 10 we switched to Erie and i love it up there. Last year I was out of Venetian Marina, which I really liked.

The first pic has Jed owning the engine hatch. It was over 90 that day. I had ice water out for him and the AC on in the cabin. He was really hot but he would not stay down in the cabin to cool off unless I sat in there with him. Well I would go down and sit with him for 10 or 15 minutes until he fell asleep, then I would sneak back out to socialize. When he would wake up and realize I was not in the cabin he'd come hunting for me. We did this 3 or 4 times. Well, the last time I sat down on the floor and the little sh!t came over and put his head on my shoulder so I could not sneak away in the middle of his nap. He's some dog.

Sorry to hear, I know how hard it is to loose one. Lost my lab of 10 years last year....You may not want to but get a new one soon, it will help.
